New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
New! We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn! If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you. This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic! (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)
New! The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!
Welcome to Stitchboard! Feel free to sit and stay awhile. Check out our new Premier features. In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request! We have many more features planned, too!

Cali,
You're so welcome!
Hi,
If you're using the "Choose my own colors" option, there was a bug that showed up in certain configurations.
I corrected this in a version that should be ready very soon. I'm doing final testing. It has about 30 internal changes, fixes, and a few additions.
Terry
Piddy,
You definitely can work it from the bottom up, as long as you didn't rotate it.
I've never actually seen anyone work them side to side, but many people don't realie that crochet stitches are not square, so they'll use any old cross stitch graph and think it doesn't matter.
So maybe the ones you've seen that are worked side to side are people who think it doesn't matter, and don't even realize the image is a bit skewed.
Or maybe they are doing c2c?

Shaleigh,
How outstanding -
congrats!
So happy you
were able to get exactly what you want. And wholesale...you can't
beat that!
And YES on the loop method of
starting! Is there really any other way?
LOL, your
original post brought back memories of a forever WIP that I
couldn't handle stitching because it used, UGH, 3 strands. It was
so beautiful, but working the 3 strands drove me nuts. Could NOT
handle it. Probably should have changed from the original 11 count
to a 14 count fabric and (since it was a kit) just used 2 strands.
Didn't think of it at the time. Did too much of it (as I seem to
recall) to switch now, since there wouldn't be enough of certain
colors of thread.
Hoping perhaps you'll be
taking pictures here and there to show us?
